Playoff Division Round Weekend

Week 14 is here in fantasy football and with that it brings the Playoffs. First up both the General Manager John and myself would like to thank the following teams for taking part and making it such a great 13 weeks of fantasy football, it wouldn't of been the same without you!

The top team from each division qualfied and give themselves homefield advantage, then the next 6 best teams from the whole Darby Football League grabbed a slot for this years race to the Playoffs.

In the first game the Winners of the Southern Division Common Ground Hogs (10-3) host the 8th seed place Big McLarge-Huge (6-7). When these two teams met back in week 9, the Hogs came off best by a 60 point difference. McLarge made the playoffs despite having a losing record and is coming into this game with on a 3 game losing streak. Can they overcome the number 1 seeded team of the DFL and cause a upset?

In the second game the 4th seeded London Quackstars (8-5) host 5th Seeded Mancini Kills All Softies (7-6) in the first division vs division battle. Back in week 6 these 2 teams came to a close battle with just a 6 point difference, with Quackstars managing to win. I am sure this will be another close battle with the winner either hosting the 8th seed Big McLarge-Huge or traveling to the number 1 seed.

In the second division vs division battle the 3rd Seeded Johnzzo Bay Packers (9-4) host the 6th seeded Forlan's Headband Lovers (7-6). These 2 teams only faced each other in week 11 where the Packers came off the winner. But with the last two wins under Forlan's belt and managing to fight their way back into the playoff picture, can they overcome one of the top teams this season.

In the Playoff game we see the number 7th seed Le Meilleur (7-6) head to the winner of the Northern division and 2nd seeded Team Evil Beats Southern Nonces (9-4). A team which has been on top of the Northern division all season! Le Meilleur has a tough battle ahead of him, and when they last met in week 4, Team Evil came away with the victory.

A amazingly close end to the season which saw not many changes from the week before. The Jugglers and Kittens fell out of playoff contention despite Mc Large losing by just 0.30 points! Neither team managed to win which allowed McLarge to hang on to the 8th playoff spot after being on a shock 3 game losing streak.
The leaders of each division stood tall and won both their games holding home field advantage. Forlan's win not only sent them into the playoffs but set them up with 6th place.

Its the final game of the regular season. and next week the playoffs will begin. All is to play for! Below are the teams and their situations going into the final game tonight!

The Season is done for All Gray. Though he can cause problems for Big McHuge Large if they win.

In The Running
Big Mc-Huge Large is in with a win. If they lose, they are still in as long as Fire Breathing Kittens don't manage to win and outscore them.


Coach No More Adebayor

In The Running
Coach can make the playoffs, but a lot of luck must fall his way. First they have to win. Then if Big McHuge Large and Fire Breathing Kittens lose. Outscoring them by the 93 and 91 points needed, and also outscoring the loser of Crusty Jugglers and Forlan's Headband Lovers.


Common Ground Hogs

Clinched Playoff Spot
Common wins the south with a win or if they and the Bay Packers win need to outscore them by 80pts
If Johnzzo loses then the Hogs automatically win the division

In a game against Forlan its all to play for! The winner will be guarenteed a place into the playoffs, the losers fate rests on a number of other games. If the Jugglers lose, they can still make the playoffs if Big McHuge loses and they out score they by 1115, and if Fire Breathing Kittens lose and the Jugglers outscore them by 95!


Fire Breathing Kittens

In The Running
The Kittens are all dependant on Big McHuge Large. If Kittens win and Mc Huge Large lose then its all down to a 2 point difference!


Forlan's Headband Lovers

In The Running
In a game against Forlan its all to play for! The winner will be guarenteed a place into the playoffs, the losers fate rests on a number of other games. If the Forlan lose, they can still make the playoffs if Big McHuge loses and they out score they by 95, and if Fire Breathing Kittens lose and the Forlan outscore them by 93!


Johnzzo Bay Packers

Clinched Playoff Spot
The Bay Packers can win the South Division by winning and Common losing as long as Common does not out score the Packers by 80 points.


Le Meilleur

Clinched Playoff Spot
Can win the division if Teamevil lose and they out score by 144pts.


London Quackstars

Clinched Playoff Spot
Depending on win or loss will determine the postion.


Mancini Kills All Softies

Clinched Playoff Spot
Mancini can win the north division if they outscore Teamevil by 115pts


Mugen Monsters

Mugen's season is done. They can cause problems for the Bay Packers by stopping them win the division, but the Packers have done enough to get into the playoffs.


Orchard Park Indians

Orchard Park's Season is over, but they can end Coach No More's season with a win over them.
